Investigation of disturbed grave continues
The Routt County Sheriff's Office has identified multiple suspects in its investigation of a disturbed grave north of Hayden, said Routt County Undersheriff Dan Taylor.
A woman who lives close to the gravesite said she saw four or five men digging at the grave in late August.
"Now we're just trying to determine why someone would do this," Taylor said. "We don't believe everybody we've talked to is being truthful."
NecroSearch, an international gravesite investigation specialist company that is expected to determine whether human remains were removed from the grave, has not yet conducted tests at the gravesite, Taylor said.
