United Airlines announced this week that customers who purchase a ticket in United First or United Business class from Colorado to any U.S., Canadian or Caribbean destination will receive a free companion ticket in the same class for the same flight.
A United spokesman said the offer applies to passengers originating their travel at Yampa Valley Regional Airport and continuing on to cities beyond Denver while flying business or first class.
"This (offer) recognizes United First and Business Class customers while offering an opportunity for new customers to experience the breath of the United product," said John Tague, executive vice president.
The companion offer is valid for flights from Oct. 22 through Dec. 31. Certain rules and restrictions apply.
