Darlene's brother, Don Voeltzel, and family were there from Income, Idaho, and they all had a good time visiting. As they traveled, they stopped in Kemmer, Wyo., to visit former Haydenite Carol Batesta.

Out-of-town visitors

Donna Barnes-Melagosa flew in from Arizona to attend Kathleen Preator's funeral. While she was here, she spent the week visiting her children, Tim Barnes and Tammy Boutwell.

Bruce Yoast, Ed and Terry VanderTook, Joe and Nancy Clark also were here for Kathleen Preator's funeral and spent time reconnecting with family and friends.

Thank you

Avis Funk would like to give a special thank you to Rowan McQuarrie for the beautiful music that he played on his bag pipes in honor of her husband, Jim.

Rowan could not attend the funeral and he told Avis this was his way of honoring him. The beautiful music was heard by all the surrounding neighbors as Rowan hiked up to the gravel pit and played from there.
