12:04 a.m. A man was reported urinating off the Fifth Street Bridge. Officers responded but were unable to locate the suspect.
4:54 a.m. A suspicious person with a backpack was reported hanging out on the front porch of a business in the 300 block of South Lincoln Avenue. When police arrived, the person was gone.
6:53 a.m. A mattress was found in the street at the intersection of Lincoln Avenue and Anglers Drive. Public works officials took the mattress away.
8:12 a.m. An ambulance was requested for a 78-year-old woman in the 600 block of Pine Street.
9:13 a.m. A blue Yamaha dirt bike was stolen from the 1300 block of Athens Plaza. Police took a report and are looking for the bike.
9:48 a.m. A complaint was made about a black Honda that reportedly was abandoned in the 500 block of Tamarack. The car was towed.
11:33 a.m. A flare was observed at mile marker 8 of County Road 16. Police investigated to determine whether it had been for a distress call, but nothing was found.
12:15 p.m. Theft was reported at the Steamboat Springs High School. Items from two gym bags in the women's locker room were reported stolen, including $60 in cash, headphones and a CD in one bag and $70 in cash from the other. A theft report was taken, and police are asking for information from anyone who may have seen the theft.
3:20 p.m. A man wearing a backpack and coat reportedly was drinking and walking around at the intersection of Walton Creek Road and South Lincoln Avenue. Police met with the man and determined he had not been drinking alcohol. The man promised to stay out of the road.
4:50 p.m. Identity theft was reported in Steamboat Springs and is under investigation.
5:27 p.m. A two-vehicle accident was reported at the intersection of 11th and Oak streets. The drivers refused ambulance service.
8:11 p.m. A non injury, hit-and-run accident was reported in the 1200 block of Lincoln Avenue.
10:58 p.m. Lost property was reported at the alley between Fourth and Fifth streets.
