6:08 a.m. Criminal mischief was reported in the 30 block of Cedar Court. A man started his car and smelled something bad. When he looked under the hood he found a bunch of crabapples had been thrown on the engine.
9:33 a.m. An abandoned vehicle was reported behind the Colorado Bar and Grill in Oak Creek.
10:10 a.m. A vehicle rolled out of the driveway of Yampa Valley Medical Center and ended up in a ditch. There were no injuries.
1:47 p.m. Theft was reported in the 100 block of Park Avenue. Employee embezzlement is suspected and the case is under investigation.
2:32 p.m. A gas skip was reported in the 30000 block of U.S. Highway 40. A theft report was taken.
2:32 p.m. Police were notified that a runaway from Fruita might be headed to Steamboat and were told to keep an eye out for her and her car.
5:10 p.m. A domestic disturbance dispute was reported in the 1700 block of Timothy Drive. The dispute was over custody of a dog.
5:39 p.m. Assault and battery was reported in the 1300 block of Dream Island Plaza. A woman reportedly punched someone in the eye.
6:04 p.m. A vehicle complaint was made in the 400 block of Oak Street because a truck was blocking a residential driveway. The truck had been moved by the time officers arrived.
6:21 p.m. Damage to a bike was reported at the police department.
7:41 p.m. Threats were reported in the 70 block of Alpine Drive.
8:27 p.m. There was a false alarm at First National Bank. Police thought children at the back of the bank tripped the motion detector.
