Q: When did you move to Routt County and what brought you here?
A: I moved here a year and a half ago for love, sunshine and snow.
Q: What's the biggest risk you've taken recently?
A: Taking a job with high school kids -- need I say more?
Q: Describe your morning routine.
A: Hit the snooze a few times, roll out of bed and turn on the coffee.
Q: Have you ever had a book change your life? What was it and why?
A: "Gift from the Sea," by Anne Morrow Lindberg. It inspired me to appreciate the little things in life and live every day to the fullest.
Q: What's the best piece of advice you've ever been given?
A: My mother once told me "a good character is important -- a bad reputation is easy to get and hard to get rid of."
Q: When you meet someone new, what are the first three things you tell them about yourself?
A: 1. I 2. Hate 3. Tomatoes
Q: When you were a kid, what did you want to be when you grew up?
A: A grown up, then it happened, and now I want to be a kid.
Q: What kind of music did you listen to in high school? What kind of music do you listen to now?
A: I listened to REO Speedwagon, Aerosmith, The Cars and embarrassingly enough, Michael Jackson. Now, I listen to almost anything from rock & roll, bluegrass, oldies, blues, classical, reggae, country and pop.
Q: If you could invite any four people over for dinner, who would they be, what would you serve and what would you talk about?
A: My grandparents who passed away when I was young. We would share a bottle of wine, and I would ask them questions about my ancestry.
Q: In the Meatloaf song, "I'll do anything for love, but I won't do that," what is "that"?
A: Eat tomatoes
Q: Do you collect anything?
A: By working too much and playing too much, I have accumulated a fabulous dust collection.
