Thursday, Oct. 9

2:17 a.m. A highly intoxicated man reportedly was beating on the door of a hotel in the 400 block of Lincoln Avenue demanding he be given a room. The Alpine Taxi was called, and the man was taken to his home.

8:24 a.m. A lock-down was conducted at the Steamboat Springs High School.

11:02 a.m. A civil standby was requested at the Rockies Condo area so a man could retrieve his belongings.

1:38 p.m. The Steamboat Springs Police Department investigation a bad check cashed in the 800 block of Lincoln Avenue.

4:00 p.m. A two-vehicle, noninjury accident was reported on East Maple Street.

4:37 p.m. Juveniles near the intersection of Primrose Lane and Tamarack Drive were reported playing basketball and firing a gun into the air.

5:17 p.m. A juvenile was reported riding his motorized scooter up and down Bear Drive. The juvenile was warned and advised.

9:06 p.m. The Colorado State Patrol made two arrests after pulling a vehicle over in the 300 block of Lincoln Avenue.

10:15 p.m. An intoxicated guest at a hotel in the 1000 block of Lincoln Avenue was reported disturbing other guests.

11:54 p.m. A noise complaint was reported in the 2400 block of Apres Ski Way. A private security guard said he was being harassed as he tried to quiet the noise-makers down.
