Welcome
The Phippsburg community welcomes Mr. and Mrs. Chris Zuschlag and Mr. and Mrs. Tim Fink to our area as they prepare to open the South Routt Nursery south of town. They are starting a greenhouse and already have hauled in trees and will have other items. We hope you are with us a long time. Nice to have you here.
Wedding anniversary
Happy 66th wedding anniversary to Flora and Earl Crowner in Grand Junction on Nov. 9. The Crowners were former residents of Yampa and Phippsburg. Hope you have many more. Thanks to Edwina Bruder for this news item.

Flu shots
Now that the flu season has started, stop by the South Routt Medical Center and get your flu shot and have a good winter.
Community Club
The Phippsburg Community Club holds meetings the first Tuesday of the month at 7 p.m. Everyone is welcome to attend.

The Doug Campbells are home after being away.
Old friends
We visited with Brandon Hall, a former resident of Phippsburg and Yampa who attended school in Yampa. Brandon is now a doctor and was here hunting with a group. He is the son of Doug Hall, who was train master here.
Give during holidays
Remember, as holiday season is upon us, the LIFT-UP at Oak Creek can use lots of donations. They are open 4 to 6 p.m. Tuesday and 9 a.m. to noon Thursday.
Steamboat shoppers
The South Routt Seniors shopped Tuesday in Steamboat Springs.
Good luck
The Rocco Stefanos went to Denver on Sunday where Maxine will undergo a series of tests. Good luck, Maxine.
Visiters
The Cecil Crawfords have been enjoying a visit from a daughter.
Betty and Ed Reed of Steamboat stopped by Mark Williams on Sunday.
The Bob Logans had fun with their daughters, Jessica and Michele, last weekend.
Denver day trips
Charley and Clair Taylor went to Denver last Monday. where Charley attended the Broncos game.
The Jim Goggins went to Denver over the weekend.

The Phippsburg and Oak Creek Historical Society has a large crocheted doilie. They are selling chances to win it, so contact a member and help this worthwhile cause.
