Happy anniversary
Dan and Susan Allen celebrated their 20th wedding anniversary Oct. 29 and went to Las Vegas for the celebration. Lots of happiness, and have many more years together.
Services
Graveside services were held for Dick Wisecup on Saturday at the Oak Creek Cemetery with a dinner following at the Colorado Cafe.
Bridge
Winners at bridge at the home of Verna Whaley were Lila Rider, Clarice Reid, Elaine Gay and June Carr. The next meeting is at the home of June Carr.
What's New
Stop by the rummage shop in Phippsburg and check out all the items on hand. It's open from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Thursday. Good clean items will be taken at that time.
For sale
The Oak Creek and Phippsburg Historical Society has small and large tote bags for sale. Call Joann Lombardi, Anna Saindon or Mary Maynarich for more information.
New home for Lombardis
The Pie Lombardis' new home has arrived and is being put together. Nice going, have a lot of happy years.
Libraries
Stop by your libraries in Toponas, Yampa and Oak Creek and check out all of the items.
Spaghetti
Don't forget the annual spaghetti dinner from noon to 2:30 p.m. today in the basement of the Catholic Church. Cost is $6 for adults, $3 for children aged 6 to 12 years old and free for children younger than 6. Meals can be taken out, so call 736-2258.
LIFT-UP
LIFT-UP, now in the mini-storage building, is open from 4 to 6 p.m. Tuesday and 9 a.m. to noon Thursday. Donations are needed and welcome.
Quite a fence
Stop by and have a look at Lynn Whaley's fence and enjoy it. He has put a lot of work into it and it is great -- there is none other like it.
Get a ride
Tom Harves will be driving the senior van. Call him at 736-2787 if you need a ride.
Traveling
Tilly Price has been going to Craig on the weekends to be with her mother and family.
Lois Stefano and Cindy Porter went to Steamboat on Wednesday.
Ralph Webb of Arizona has spent some time here at his home and with friends.
