n The von Trapp children, third generation descendants of the family featured in "The Sound of Music," will perform at 7:30 p.m. in the Steamboat Springs High School auditorium. n The Steamboat Springs Arts Council presents the free Friday Film series at 7 p.m. at Centennial Hall. This week's film is "The Navigator." Call 879-9008.

n Parents Night Out, sponsored by the Steamboat Springs High School EPYCS Philanthropy Club, is from 5:30 to 9 p.m. at Steamboat Springs High School. For $10 per child, high school students will watch children in kindergarten through eighth grade while parents go out for the evening. Movies, pizza and lemonade will be provided.
