2:37 a.m. A fire alarm went off in the 2700 block of Eagle Ridge Drive. People in the neighborhood suspect a drunken man pulled the alarm as a joke. The alarm was reset.
5:01 a.m. A mail deliveryman reported that a large amount of trash was strewn in front of the doors at Steamboat Springs High School. Police think the dumping may have been a senior prank. There was no damage reported.
8:53 a.m. There was a two-car accident in front of Centennial Hall. There were no injuries.
10:04 a.m. Juveniles were reportedly drinking near the rodeo grounds. Officers responded but no tickets were given.
12:24 p.m. A hit-and-run was reported at SSHS on Maple Street. There were no injuries.
12:52 p.m. There was a two-car accident at the corner of Lincoln Avenue and Pine Grove Road. There were no injuries.
1:23 p.m. Officers were called to investigate a suspicious person, reportedly a mental patient, in the 3100 block of South Lincoln Avenue near the Holiday Inn. Police could not find the man.
2:45 p.m. Three juvenile girls from SSHS were issued citations for underage drinking. The girls reportedly got drunk during their lunch break, returned to school and were caught.
2:53 p.m. An abandoned vehicle was reported at the intersection of 8th and Oak streets. The vehicle was towed.
8:54 p.m. Juveniles were reportedly setting off fireworks in the street in the 2900 block of West Acres Drive. The kids were told to stop and warned of the potential danger they were causing.
9:56 a.m. A man was reportedly driving drunk at the intersection of Routt County Road 129 and Downhill Plaza. Officers gave him an alcohol test and it came back negative. The man was released.
