7:28 a.m. Officers assisted an ambulance in the 3000 block of Hiawatha Court. A woman was injured in a biking accident after she went flying over her handlebars.
2:44 p.m. A possible burglary was reported at Cook Chevrolet at 1707 Lincoln Ave. The front door had been broken open. Nothing was reported stolen.
3:51 p.m. Officers responded to a request for a welfare check on a man near Mountain Fire Station. The man was found drunk and passed out. When police ran the man's identification, they found he had a warrant out for his arrest. The man was taken to the hospital and subsequently arrested.
3:53 p.m. A suspicious person was reported outside Wal-Mart at 1805 Central Park Drive. The man reportedly was making sexually explicit comments to women in the parking lot.
5:32 p.m. A young man reportedly was riding his motorcycle recklessly in the 2000 block of West Acres Drive. Police did not find the man.
6:12 p.m. A driver reportedly appeared to be driving drunk on Routt County roads 35 and 41. The driver was contacted by police and arrested for driving under the influence.
7:11 p.m. A man reportedly was beating his dog near a fishing hole along the Yampa River. Officers responded and told the man to "chill out."
7:48 p.m. A bear was spotted walking along True Vail Court. When officers responded, the bear was gone.
8:07 p.m. A Chevy Tahoe driving out of the Kum & Go parking lot on West Jefferson Avenue in Hayden reportedly hit another vehicle near its front end. The driver of the Tahoe then sped away, leaving his front bumper and license plate at the scene. Police caught up with the driver and arrested him. A woman in the vehicle that was hit suffered minor injuries.
9:14 p.m. Someone reported a person appeared to be driving drunk on U.S. Highway 40. Officers did not find the car.
10:06 p.m. A driver hit a deer on U.S. 40 at Mount Harris.
10:39 p.m. A prowler was reported in the 23000 block of Schussmark Trail in Oak Creek. Police were unable to locate a suspect.
