Bob was born Jan. 3, 1943, to Tom and Blanche Bertram in Mount Harris, Colo.

He worked as an underground coal miner at Empire Energy in Craig for 19 years. He was most recently employed by Holiday Inn in Steamboat Springs.
He married Rena Ciani on Dec. 29, 1971. The couple had two sons.
Bob was a talented carpenter and it was apparent in the home he and Rena built together.
He enjoyed fishing and being outdoors. He especially enjoyed his pets.
Bobby touched many lives; he was a loving husband and father and a caring son, brother and uncle.

He gave unselfishly and asked for little in return.
All who knew and loved him will miss him.

He is survived by his wife; four sons, Brian of Hayden, Kevin of Denver, Bob, Jr. and Jeffrey; a daughter, Brenda Ford; three sisters, Mary Ann McGilton of Craig, Linda Bertram of Lafayette and Nancy Pogline of Hayden; two brothers, Billy and Tim of Hayden and numerous nieces and nephews.
