10:54 a.m. Some snowboarders were trespassing on Howelsen Hill. Police gave the wayward riders a warning.

12:14 p.m. Two juveniles from New Mexico were caught shoplifting at City Market. Police arranged a bus ride to take the boys back home to their mother.

12:44 p.m. A cell phone was reported lost in the City Market parking lot.

2:55 p.m. Skis and poles were reported lost somewhere in the Steamboat Springs area.

6:44 p.m. An intoxicated woman was reported at the corner of Ninth and Lincoln. Police took her to jail, where she tried to assault a police officer.

7:21 p.m. Some youngsters were throwing snowballs at passing vehicles at the corner of U.S. 40 and Pine Grove Road.

7:48 p.m. An abandoned stroller was reported at the corner of 12th Street and Yampa Avenue.
