CMC offers seven-week history of jazz course
Colorado Mountain College presents a course, The History of Jazz, meeting from 3:30 to 6:45 p.m. Mondays and Wednesdays, June 30-Aug. 13 in Willett Hall, Room 301. Students will develop an understanding and appreciation of jazz music, and listen to the greatest and latest jazz masters. Tuition is $123 for in-district residents. Call 870-4422.
CDOT to host meeting
on long-range planning
The Colorado Department of Transportation will host a public meeting on the update of its long-range, multimodal transportation plan for Northwest Colorado from 4 to 7 p.m. July 9 at Olympian Hall. The meeting will extend the regional transportation planning horizon to 2030.
Coaches offer agility camps for youth athletes
Speed, agility and quickness camps are offered to youth athletes to help improve sports performance from 9 to 10 a.m. and 10 to 11 a.m., Tuesdays and Thursdays throughout the summer. Second Project WILD course offered to teachers
The Colorado Division of Wildlife sponsors Project WILD II, a water and wildlife class for Yampa Valley teachers primary and secondary teachers on July 23 and 24. The course is an advanced workshop investigating water and wildlife issues of the Yampa River. It will meet at the Soroco High School biology classroom and various outdoor field locations. The registration deadline is July 10. Call 879-3521.

Rally for a Cure golf
tournament July 15
The Steamboat Ladies Golf Club will host the fourth annual Rally for a Cure golf tournament on July 15 at Steamboat Golf Club. The cost is a $15 donation plus green fees, and all proceeds benefit the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation. Sign up at the Steamboat Golf Club pro shop or call 879-4295.
