Skating
HOWELSEN SKATE PARK
The Skate Park at Howelsen Hill has six street ramps, a pyramid, a fun box and a mini-ramp on a concrete pad. Participants are responsible for their own protective equipment including helmet, kneepads and elbow pads. The Park will be open seven days a week, weather permitting.
The park is open from May through October, seven days a week from sun-up to sundown. Admission is free.
Use of safety equipment such as helmet, gloves, knee and elbow pads, wrist supports and proper shoes is recommended. Makeshift items or modifications to existing ramps and like items are not permitted. Food and drinks are not allowed on skating surface. Alcohol, tobacco and drugs are not allowed.
HOWELSEN ICE ARENA
The Howelsen Ice Arena will re-open Aug. 1. Hockey camps for all ages as well as figure skating ice will be available in August. You can schedule a birthday party, hockey game with friends or just get out of the heat during a public skate or drop-in hockey session.

ROLLER HOCKEY LEAGUE
An instructional hockey program that promotes self-esteem in a safe, fun atmosphere will be offered this summer. For more information call Ted Hoffman at 846-1031.
The league will run from June 9 through July 16 on Monday and Wednesday mornings at the Howelsen Ice Arena parking lot. The league is for ages 6--14. The cost is $100 plus a $25 USA hockey inline fee that includes a jersey.
