2:49 a.m. Officers responded to Apres Ski Way after a woman reportedly heard shots fired. Police located juveniles who were shooting fireworks. One juvenile was issued a citation for underage drinking.
3 a.m. A man in the 300 block of Sixth Street called police after a dog bit his arm and broke the skin. The man was taken to the hospital and animal control is following up on the incident.
9:50 a.m. Hot tub equipment and an umbrella reportedly were stolen from the 2000 block of Ski Time Square Drive.
10:28 a.m. Construction crews in the 2400 block of Ridge Road were found without the required work permits. Police told them not to return to work until they obtained the permits.
11:40 a.m. The police were called after a check written for more than $100 to Ace Lumber bounced.
12:18 p.m. Boxes on the loading dock of the Steamboat Grand Resort Hotel were ignited, starting a small blaze. The fire was put out and is being investigated.
1:04 p.m. A caller reported that a favorite pair of sunglasses had been stolen from her residence.
4:28 p.m. A motorist reported that there was a vehicle unloading motorcycles at the intersection of U.S. Highway 40 and Shield Drive, and it was blocking the turn lane. The vehicle was gone when police arrived.
5:03 p.m. There was a two-car accident in the 200 block of Lincoln Avenue. No one was injured, and one driver was issued a citation.
10:11 p.m. Twelve juveniles were reportedly throwing things at condominiums on Apres Ski Way and threatening to shoot people. Police contacted the minors and told them to stop.
11:13 p.m. Police responded to the 3500 block of Whistler Road after reports of a loud party and profane language at a condominium. Officers contacted the individuals at the party and told them to quiet down.
