Steamboat Springs A group of local businessmen with backgrounds in banking, real estate and property management have formed a new direct private lending firm called Capital Funding Advisors LLC.
The principals in Capital Funding Advisors are Jim Simon, Irlan Neas, Mark McElhinney, Mike Sherrill, Steve Dawes and Jim Swiggart.
The company is designed for flexibility in offering loans -- it does not have a loan committee. The targeted customer base comprises hard to place loans and/or short-term real estate secured loans.
Typical loans might also include construction loans to borrowers unable or unwilling to meet institutional criteria.
In-house loans range from $50,000 to $3 million. Larger loans may be funded through other investor capital or bank warehousing lines of credit.
The company can be reached at 879-8765.
