Bonnie J. Green
1931-2003
Bonnie J. Green died Jan. 11, 2003, in Grand Junction. She was 72.
Bonnie was born Jan. 10, 1931, in Squaw Creek, but she grew up in Denver. In 1948, she married Perley Green in Routt County.
She was a rancher's wife, and she drove a school bus for the Steamboat Springs School District for more than 20 years. Bonnie was a member of the Seventh Day Church of God.
She moved to Grand Junction in 1999.
Bonnie was preceded in death by her fathers, Doc Howard and Willard Denning; and a sister, Loretta Williams.
She is survived by her husband; her mother, Daisy Denning of Wickenburg, Ariz.; two sons, Terry Green of Steamboat Springs and Billy Green of Craig; three daughters, Connie Wagner of Steamboat, Anita Paquette of Winnemucca, N.Y., and Jeannette Carmack of Palisade; a brother, Gilbert Howard of Spiro, Okla.; six sisters, June Myers of California, Doris Denning of Wickenburg, Ariz., Louise Bair of Arizona, Beverly John of Denver, Bell Shepherdson of Grand Junction and Minnie Taylor. She is also survived by 13 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
A funeral service was held Jan. 16, 2003, at the Steamboat Springs Christian Center.
