The company now markets a line of wool fashion, kitchen accessories and home furnishings.
College ski week boosts resort
Chris Smith of Powder Pursuits snowboard shop said college ski week produced one of his best weeks ever. Powder Pursuits rented 250 snowboards last week, Smith said.
Bob Milne of Steamboat Resorts said his condominium properties were full of college kids last week and they experienced few problems. He credited the tent in the gondola parking lot with giving the college skiers and riders a place to hang out. He also credited tour operator Dixon Productions, which packages many of the college break vacations, with being well organized.
