2:52 p.m. A coal hauling truck slid off an icy patch of Twentymile Road. No one was injured.
7:10 p.m. Police issued a traffic ticket to a motorist driving 42 mph in a 30 mph zone on Jefferson Avenue near the corner of Walnut Street.
9:11 p.m. Police issued a traffic ticket to a motorist driving 45 mph in a 30 mph zone on Jefferson Avenue near the corner of Second Street.
Saturday, Dec. 27
12:59 a.m. Damage and criminal mischief were reported at the wood shop at the corner of Walnut Street and Washington Avenue after several windows were found broken. Police estimated the damage at $300.
10:22 a.m. There was a motor vehicle accident on Routt County Road 53, near mile marker 14.
11:09 a.m. Damage and criminal mischief were reported in downtown Hayden.
8:30 p.m. A woman at the Hi-way Bar requested a ride home.
Sunday, Dec. 28
9:02 a.m. A young female driver stopped at the stop sign at the corner of East Lincoln Avenue and Shelton Avenue and then backed up, accidentally striking the vehicle behind her. No one was injured.
9:57 p.m. A hit-and-run accident was reported at Park Trailer Park when a young female driver struck a fence and then drove away. The girl knew the owner of the fence, who was not home at the time, and called the owner, leaving a message, when she got home. The people who saw it said she simply drove away without regard.
Monday, Dec. 29
1:15 p.m. An ambulance was requested in the 100 block of West Jefferson Avenue for a man who was having pains and having difficulty moving around.
10:08 p.m. A vehicle complaint was reported in the 200 block of Harvest Drive.
Tuesday, Dec. 30
