n Steamboat's Over the Hill Gang, which offers guided skiing to intermediate skiers 50 and older, meets at 9 a.m. Sunday through Friday across from the Billy Kidd statue.

n The Yampa Volunteer Fire Department's 25th annual pancake breakfast is from 5 to 7 p.m. at the Yampa Ladies Aide Hall. Cost is $5; children 5 and younger eat free.

n The Gambler's Ball Roaring '20s New Year's Eve Party, sponsored by Perry-Mansfield and Emerald City Opera, is open to ages 21 and older and will begin at 8 p.m. in the Grand Ballroom at the Sheraton Steamboat Resort, 2200 Village Inn Court.
