2:29 a.m. A vehicle reportedly hit an elk on U.S. Highway 40 near mile marker 138. The accident resulted in an arrest. A deputy with the Routt County Sheriff's Office said he couldn't disclose the reason for the arrest because of an ongoing investigation.
8:10 a.m. A Steamboat Springs police officer responded to a two-vehicle accident in the 2900 block of Alpenglow Way. There were no injuries, and a report was taken.
8:36 a.m. A resident in the 1900 block of Christie Drive reported that someone tampered with ornamental deer placed out in a yard. The deer had been moved to other areas of the property. A report was taken.
9:12 a.m. A two-vehicle accident was reported in the 1700 block of Burgess Creek Road. There were no injuries.
10:42 a.m. Police responded to a complaint about a vehicle at the intersection of Apres Ski Way and Village Drive. A report was taken.
12:34 p.m. A motor vehicle accident was reported in the 2900 block of Whistler Road. There were no injuries.
2:49 p.m. A Routt County Sheriff's Office deputy responded to a one-vehicle rollover accident on Fish Creek Falls Road. The deputy said the vehicle was traveling too fast for the icy and snowpacked road conditions. A ticket was issued to the driver.
6:44 p.m. Police responded to a two-vehicle accident in the 2200 block of Storm Meadows Drive. There were no injuries.
11:17 p.m. A hit-and-run accident was reported in the 500 block of Lincoln Avenue. Police said a vehicle bumped a parked car and left the scene. There are no suspects.
