New publishers release 'Book of Gifts'

Steamboat Springs author Allison McNeill and partner Luane Oprea of New Orleans, La., have established Bayou Soda Creek Publications and published McNeill's first book, "The Book of Gifts." The new book is a collection of reflections on what the author calls gifts. They include compassion and hope, love and trust.

McNeill adds that "The Book of Gifts" isn't written in a style typical of most spiritual or self-help books.

"I felt it was important that the book be both helpful and lyrical," McNeill said. "Hopefully, I accomplished this, and the prose style of the book will make the gifts even more inspirational."

"The Book of Gifts" is available at Epilogue Book Co. and at www.thebookofgifts.com.

Oprea and McNeill plan to publish a series of books.
