8:30 a.m. Lorin Gelfand, manager of Terry Sports at the Village Center, reported that about $2,000 in cash was stolen from the safe in the store. There was no sign of forced entry into the store or the safe.

1:01 p.m. An intoxicated man who was walking in the 2500 block of Village Drive was taken home.

5:34 p.m. An officer was requested in the 1300 block of Indian Trail because of a suspicious person walking in the neighborhood while a party was going on nearby.

8:19 p.m. A two-vehicle, noninjury accident was reported at the corner of Seventh Street and Lincoln Avenue.

8:44 p.m. A Steamboat Springs Transit bus collided head-on with a car at the bottom of the ramp of the intersection of Mount Werner Road and U.S. Highway 40. The car reportedly slid into the bus. People in the car were wearing seatbelts, and no one was injured.

10:01 p.m. A motorist near the corner of AprÃs Ski Way and Ski Trail Lane reported that a white truck hit his or her car, which was parked on the side of the road. The white truck reportedly drove away without stopping, and the motorist did not get the license-plate number.

11:02 p.m. A car swerved to miss an SST bus and slid into the ditch on the side of Village Drive near the intersection of Walton Creek Road.
