SATURDAY

n Hayden's Rocking 'A' Artisans Craft Bazaar is from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. at 148 S. Walnut St. This is a fund-raiser for the Rocking 'A' Scholarship program.

n A Santa Claus parade with free pictures for children, sponsored by the Fellowship of Christian Cowboys, begins at 11 a.m. at 11th Street and Lincoln Avenue. Everyone is welcome to ride in the parade. Call 879-3146.

n Santa Claus, with his sled and live reindeer, will be available to take pictures with children from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. in Torian Plum Plaza, next to Terry Sports. Other activities include games, giveaways and coloring contests. Call 879-0309.

n People can have their pictures taken on the Zamboni ice-grooming machine from 11:45 a.m. to 12:45 p.m. at Howelsen Ice Arena. The sitting fee is $10, and the photographer will have order forms available.

n The annual Senior Holiday Friendship Tea scheduled for Saturday at The Haven in Hayden has been postponed. Call 276-3741.

n The public is invited to a docent-led tour of exhibitions at 2 p.m. at the Depot Art Center. Call 879-9008.

n "Tea with Santa" is from 3 to 5 p.m. at St. Paul's Episcopal Church. Activities include photos with Santa, decorating ornaments and the tree, and Christmas stories and cookies. Cost is $8 per child, sponsored by Friends of the Emerald City Opera. Call 879-1996.

n The Columbine Youth Chorale will follow Tea with Santa with a holiday concert, accompanied by the Steamboat Springs Youth Orchestra, at 5 p.m. at St. Paul's Episcopal Church. Admission is free.

n A swing and lindy-hop dance class is from 5 to 6:15 p.m., followed by an intermediate salsa class from 6:30 to 7:45 p.m. at The Center for Movement Arts. Cost is $18, or $12 for students. Call 879-6486.


n Soprano Karen Onan, with pianist Sandra Varley, will present a recital at 6 p.m. at St. Paul's Episcopal Church as part of Emerald City Opera's Resident Artist Spotlight Series. Suggested donation is $5. Call 879-1996.

n First Baptist Church of Hayden presents its children's Christmas program at 1:30 p.m. at the church, Lincoln Avenue and North Second Street in Hayden.

n The Steamboat Springs Arts Council, in collaboration with members of the Yampa Valley Choral Society and the Steamboat Springs Chamber Orchestra, will present Handel's "Messiah" at 2 and 7 p.m. at the Steamboat Springs High School Auditorium. Admission is free. Call 879-9008.

n Hayden Congregational Church offers Christmas caroling via horse-drawn hay wagon at 3 p.m., starting at the church. Call 276-4203.

n Euzoa@Nite will meet at 5:57 p.m. in a different location, the Steamboat Christian Center on East U.S. Highway 40. The group will be back at the Steamboat Springs High School next week.
