Opening reception for "Women of Steamboat: A Sculptural Documentary," by Rachael Elaine Small begins at 6 p.m. at the Comb Goddess Gallery, 1104 Lincoln Ave., Suite 102. Small's work will be on display through Feb. 12.
An opening reception for the Holiday Miniature Show, small works by the Wild Horse Gallery's stable of more than 60 artists, will be held from 5 to 8 p.m. The show runs through Jan. 3. The Wild Horse Gallery has validated parking and many of the artists will attend the reception. The gallery is in the Sheraton Steamboat Resort lobby and is open 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Call 879-7660.

"The Peruvian Andes, Land of the Incas," an exhibit of photography by Stephen R. Ruddock, is on display at Toys in the Attic through Christmas.
"Fine Craft 2003: Four Virtues" is on display at the Depot Art Center, 1001 13th St. The gallery is open 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Tuesday through Friday and noon to 4 p.m., Saturday and Sunday. The "Four Virtues" show will be on display through Jan. 4 and will be exhibited in the Denver International Airport on the passenger walkway connecting Jeppsen Terminal and Concourse A from Jan. 9 to April 4.
Work by Mary Beth Galer is on display at Dancing Scissors hair salon, 810 Lincoln Ave., in the alley next to the back door of the Cantina. Call 875-1133.
