1:22 a.m. A noise complaint was reported in the 1500 block of Shadow Run. A warning was given.

9:25 a.m. A hit-and-run was reported in the 500 block of South Lincoln Avenue. No one was injured.

12:15 p.m. A vehicle complaint was made in the 700 block of Oak Street.

1:25 p.m. A man was reported hitchhiking along U.S. Highway 40 near the Super 8 Motel. He was wearing red long johns and was wrapped in a white sheet. The Steamboat Springs Police Department told him he was not allowed to stand on the road to hitchhike.

2:34 p.m. The same man hitchhiking was later reported driving carelessly in the 200 block of Lincoln Avenue. The man reportedly was tired of hitchhiking and went home to get his vehicle to drive to the Front Range to play music in a mall.

4:23 p.m. A theft was reported in the 400 block of South Lincoln Avenue.

4:59 p.m. A lost child was reported and feared to be in the river. She was found when police arrived.

5:02 p.m. A girl reported a suspicious man staring at her and following her. She was worried he was stalking her and that he might be on drugs. The man could not be located.

5:34 p.m. A business in the 1200 block of South Lincoln Avenue was broken into and a few items were stolen from the office.

8:45 p.m. Fireworks were reported going off in Dream Island. A warning was given.

8:59 p.m. Two juveniles were reported shoplifting alcohol at a liquor store along Apres Ski Way. A ticket was given.

9:18 p.m. A fully engulfed fire was reported in a Dumpster in the 1400 block of 13th Street. The Steamboat Springs Fire Department put out the fire.

9:56 p.m. A man reported juveniles mouthing off and being rude on the Colorado Mountain College campus.
