Ptach earns Master of Real Estate designation
Cindy Ptach of Colorado Group Realty LLC, was recently awarded the Master of Real Estate designation.

Teton Petroleum more than doubles revenues
Teton Petroleum Company, founded in Steamboat Springs by Howard Cooper, reported revenues more than doubled for the second quarter that ended June 30.
Teton is an independent oil and gas exploration and production company with principal operations in Russia. Revenue was $2.9 million for the three-month period, a 132 percent increase from revenue of $1.28 million for the corresponding period in 2002. For the six months ended June 30, revenue was $6.4 million compared with $2.1 million in the prior year, an increase of 204 percent.
"Our financial results for the second quarter of 2003 continues to be driven by physical production growth in a strong price environment," Chief Financial Officer John Mahar said. Despite the growth in revenues, Teton reported a net loss of $1.137 million or 17 cents per share, versus $5.166 million or $2.16 per share, in the second quarter of 2002.
Water meeting slated in Steamboat Springs
As part of the state's effort to prepare for its future water needs, the Department of Natural Resources and the Colorado Water Conservation Board have launched the historic Statewide Water Supply Initiative, a forward-looking supply and demand analysis of the state's water needs.
SWSI includes a series of public information meetings in each of the eight river basins throughout Colorado. The first meeting will be from 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday in Steamboat Springs.
