Commissioners to review subdivision

The Hayden Planning Commission will further review a preliminary plat of the Meadows subdivision at 7:30 p.m. Thursday. Planning Commission has asked for several revisions to the 32-home subdivision proposed by Paul Flood.

The Planning Commission is expected to approve the preliminary plat with the revisions it requested. Flood said he has addressed the Planning Commission's open space concerns by increasing open space to 27.5 percent, exceeding the 25 percent required by the town.

A month ago, the Planning Commission told Flood it wanted to see utility easements, streetlights and water and drainage issues better addressed. Flood is expected to have answered those questions as well, Planning Commission Chairwoman Donna Hellyer said.

Also, planning consultant Tim Katers will come before the Planning Commission with new suggestions regarding Sunburst Park North.

Katers has met with Sunburst developers and Hayden officials throughout the past two weeks in an attempt to reach a middle ground, Hellyer said.
