Leftover hunting licenses to go on sale in state
Colorado Department of Wildlife official Susan Werner is expecting a busy day Aug. 12 when leftover hunting licenses go on sale across the state.
The licenses that are left over after an annual draw will be available after 8 a.m. on that day.
Hunters should have their hunter safety card and a driver's license. Werner also said it would help speed up the process if hunters checked to make sure that the information on their conservation certificate matches the information on their driver's license before Aug. 12.
The licenses that are available are limited licenses, which are left over after the primary application and drawing process.
