Wednesday, July 30
12:24 a.m. An extra patrol was sent to the power plant.
12:28 a.m. An extra patrol was sent to Yampa River State Park.
3:15 a.m. An animal complaint was reported in the 1200 block of West Jefferson Avenue. A warning was issued.
10:48 a.m. A gas skip was reported at the Kum & Go.
10:57 a.m. A two-vehicle, non-injury accident was reported at Vista Verde Town Homes.
2:58 p.m. An abandoned vehicle was reported at the corner of Second Street and Jackson Avenue. Police found the owner and the vehicle was moved.
Thursday, July 31
4:29 a.m. A noise complaint was made in the 300 block of Pine Street.
9:18 a.m. An extra patrol was sent to monitor traffic on the chip seal area between Hayden and Steamboat.
10:54 a.m. An ambulance was requested in the 300 block of S. Shelton Lane for a woman experiencing dizziness.
1:05 p.m. A group of juveniles was seen riding bikes through the grass and flowers in the park across from Kum & Go.
3:35 p.m. A vehicle complaint was made at mile marker 109 on U.S. Highway 40 for improper passing and speeding through the chip seal project.
4:51 p.m. A one-vehicle accident was reported on Routt County Road 27 near Hayden when the driver slid on the wet road. The driver was transported to Yampa Valley Medical Center with minor injuries.
6:49 p.m. A streetlight in the 200 block of West Jefferson Avenue was reported fallen.
Friday, August 1
12:56 p.m. An animal complaint was reported in the 400 block of Meadowbrook Court.
2:44 p.m. A vehicle complaint was reported on U.S. 40 in front of the power plant for speeding and improper passing on the chipseal project.
5:28 p.m. A vehicle complaint was reported at mile marker 118 of U.S. 40 for speeding and improper passing on the chipseal project.
5:40 p.m. A vehicle complaint was reported at mile marker 114 of Highway 40 for speeding and improper passing on the chip seal project.
6:56 p.m. A vehicle complaint was reported at mile marker 119 on U.S. 40 for speeding and improper passing on the chip seal project.
9:48 p.m. A traffic stop lead to an arrest for bond violation in the 100 block of East Jefferson Avenue.
11:06 p.m. A vehicle complaint was reported west of Hayden on U.S. 40 for speeding and improper passing on the chip seal project.
Saturday, August 2
10:22 a.m. A marijuana pipe was found and brought to Town Hall. The owner has not claimed it.
10:43 a.m. A vehicle complaint was made at the corner of Oak Street and Jefferson Avenue, after it was seen speeding on the chipseal project.
2:49 p.m. Fraud was reported in the 100 block of West Jefferson Avenue for a bad check.
4:24 p.m. An ambulance was requested on County Road 80 for a woman with abdominal pains.
7:23 p.m. A vehicle complaint was made at mile marker 123 of U.S. Highway 40 for speeding and improper passing.
