Girls face Longmont on Saturday

The Steamboat Springs girls soccer team will open the postseason against Longmont High School.
The playoff game is scheduled for 10 a.m. Saturday at the Steamboat Springs High School football field.
Admission is $4 for adults and $3 for students, and all passes that are acceptable during the regular season are still good through the first round of the playoffs.
The Sailors were given the home game after winning the Western Slope league title this season.
Steamboat finished 12-0 in the league and 12-2 overall. Both losses were to larger Denver schools in Littleton and Eaglecrest.
Longmont finished fourth in the Northern league, going 5-5-3 overall and 4-4-2 in the league.
Fort Collins won the Northern league with a 10-0 record.
Steamboat and Longmont faced no common opponents during the regular season.
