Yeager and Cascarini


Shannon Yeager, daughter of Dan and Sharon Yeager of Steamboat Springs, and Gregg Cascarini, son of David and Nancy Cascarini of Temecula, Calif., were united in marriage Aug. 3, 2002, at the Paiute Resort in Las Vegas, Nev.

Chad Yeager, brother of the bride, served as Man of Honor. Also attending for Shannon were Lisa Gruell, sister of the groom, Ashley Hertzog, Tami Hoffman Waldron and Cory Zutter.

Rick Lopez was the groom's best man. The groomsmen were Tim Bain, Daryl Wallace, Rob Recatto and Greg Barry. Miranda Watts, flower girl, and Kyle Hirabayashi, ring bearer, rounded out the wedding party.

The reception followed the ceremony with dinner and dancing.

The bride is a 1993 graduate of Steamboat Springs High School and a 1998 graduate of the University of Northern Colorado.

The groom grew up in Temecula, Calif., and graduated from Temecula Valley High School and received his bachelor's degree from the University of Cal Poly San Luis Obispo in 1998.

Shannon is the granddaughter of Paul and Rosemary Hertzog of Maybell, Clara Kelton of Steamboat Springs and the late Rex Yeager of Steamboat Springs.

Gregg's grandparents are Pete and Tillie Lopez of Tehachapi, Calif., and the late Jerry and Mary Cascarini.

The two are both employed as elementary school teachers and make their home in Southern California.
