WEDDING: Young and Bettcher

Denise Young, daughter of Linda Young of Steamboat Springs and Darryl Young of Weatherford, Texas, was married July 26, 2002, to Brian Bettcher, son of Steve and Kathy Bettcher of Littleton.
The Reverend Larry Oman of the United Methodist Church of Steamboat Springs performed the ceremony at the Lionscrest Manor in Lyons. The reception followed with dinner and dancing and music from the Ptarmigan String Quartet.
The maid of honor was Annie Ryberg of Steamboat Springs and the best man was the groom's brother, Jeff Bettcher of Highlands Ranch. The bride's honor attendant was her brother, Garrett Young of Weatherford, Texas, and the bridesmaid was Keri Landers of Arlington, Texas. The groomsmen were Ken Burns of Boulder and Chris Hagedorn of Half Moon Bay, Calif.
The bride moved to Steamboat Springs in 1988 and graduated from Steamboat Springs High School. The groom grew up in Danville, Calif., and graduated from Monte Vista High School. They both are graduates of the University of Colorado at Boulder.
The couple honeymooned in Switzerland and Italy and currently reside in Seattle.
Denise is the granddaughter of Jean K. Donaghy of Steamboat Springs and the late John L. Donaghy, and Clarence E. Young of Arlington, Texas, and the late Corren Young, and great-niece of Kathleen P. Krider of Steamboat Springs.
Brian's grandparents include Gerald and Mildred Bettcher of Elkhart, Ind., and the late Clifford and Elizabeth Dorsey of Cincinnati, Ohio.
