Bill Barnes was a patient at Yampa Valley Medical Center in Steamboat Springs several days last week following an accident involving hauling rock. He underwent major surgery on his shoulder. Bill will be convalescing for quite some time at his home.
Whitney Bell celebrated her 15th birthday last weekend with a slumber party for a group of her girlfriends.
Tim Rolando took his mother, Darlene, to Denver the fore part of the week for medical attention.
Christy Barnes underwent major surgery on her knee at Yampa Valley Medical Center week before last. She is recuperating at her home in Craig.
Brenda Coziahr and friends visited briefly here last week with friends. She makes her home in Atlanta, Ga.
Spencer and Betty Smith were houseguests of Olive Dean Blake last week while visiting their many friends in the area. From here they will go on to visit son Steve and family in Windsor then on to Texas for the winter months.
Sandy Brown and family have been enjoying a visit from daughter Dawn Rae and her baby.
Mr. and Mrs. Jonathan Kuntz were honored with a wedding reception Aug. 31 at the park. The couple was married the week before on the Front Range. A large crowd was on hand to wish the couple happiness, enjoy the wonderful barbecue and visiting.
Sarah Herndon and friend from Grand Junction visited friends here last week. She especially enjoyed seeing her high school classmates.
The Heuer and Adams couples have returned home from a fun trip to Las Vegas.
The Haven Assisted Living Facility and town of Hayden hosted an ice cream social Sept. 7 at the Haven. Lindsay Herr was on hand to prepare the goodies and arrange the white elephants. Guests were senior citizens and 4-H members. The 4-Hers helped top the sundaes and pour punch.
