The community extends sincere sympathy to the family and friends of Otto Mihalich, who passed away this past week in Grand Junction. Graveside services were held Nov. 17, 2002, at the Oak Creek Cemetery.
Sincere sympathy to the Bob Logan family in the loss of Bob's stepfather in Denver this past week.
Get-well wishes to Margurite Nelan, who returned home from several weeks at the Doak Walker Care Center following hip surgery. Margurite will be 90 Nov. 29. Her family is holding an open house from 1 to 4 p.m. Nov. 30 at Margurite's. Everyone is invited.
We send get-well wishes to Virginia Redmond, who had the misfortune to take a bad fall.
Winners at bridge at the home of June Carr were: June Carr, Elaine Gay, Clarice Reid and Cindy Porter. The next meeting is at Dec. 10 and will be the Christmas party.
God Bless all of you to the First Baptist Church in Yampa for the wonderful turkey dinner Nov. 17 in the Ladies Aid Hall. Among the guests were Mr. and Mrs. Eric Hudson, Mr. and Mrs. Rocco Stefano, Mark Williams, Lila Rider, Pearl Weber, Anna Saindon, Ruby Chevieler and Ruby Lou Peters.
As winter is getting started, we say a big "thank you" to both the state and Colorado highway departments in good care of our roads. A good job.

The Blain Whaleys returned home after several days in the Grand Junction area to be with family and friends.
Anna Saindon enjoyed her daughter Rosemarie McGinty of Granby and Susie Gisler of Denver over the weekend to help her at the craft fair.
The Gary Millers enjoyed a visit with their daughter, Nichole, over the weekend.
Lois Stefano is home following several days in Wheat Ridge.
The Jim Goggins went to Denver over the weekend.

A large crowd attended the Arts and Crafts Fair on Saturday in Yampa at the elementary school.
