Steamboat Springs Elizabeth Porter-Merrill graduated from the University of Colorado at Boulder May 10, 2002. Elizabeth is the daughter of John D. Merrill and Nancy Porter. She graduated from Steamboat Springs High School in 1998. While in high school, she was a member of the National Honor Society for three years, a member of the State Championship Soccer Team, an Alpine ski racer with the Steamboat Springs Winter Sports Club and a participant in the U.S. Ski Team Development Program.
While at CU, she was vice president of Swell Hall Resident Association, a member of the 1998-1999 NCAA Championship CU Ski Team and president of Phi Alpha Delta, the pre-law fraternity. During her junior year, she was inducted into the Golden Key Honor Society. This year Elizabeth was invited to join Phi Beta Kappa. She graduated with a degree in political science, Summa Cum Laude. Her plans after graduation include interning at the United Nations in Switzerland.
Donald and Martha Lemoine of Kingwood, Texas, are proud to announce the graduation of their son, James (J.M.) Lemoine, from Colorado State University. Having successfully completed a bachelor of science degree in mechanical engineering, James has accepted a position with General Electric's energy services. His first assignment will take him to Schenectady, N.Y., for nine months of training at G.E. Power Systems. James was a 1998 graduate of Steamboat Springs High School.
Eric Marsh received a bachelor of applied human science degree in construction management at Colorado State University May 10, 2002.
