Letter: Reader supports Oak Creek mayor

Inspired by the need for clarity and more accurate information, I, too, would like to share my insight and viewpoints regarding Oak Creek's recent election of Ms. Cargo Rodeman as its mayor. For the past 30 years, Cargo has supported and helped folks in Routt county. Her innumerable benefits have truly helped many citizens, instilling confidence and joy into friends and the community.

Especially at the holidays, where her homemade meals are provided for anyone and everyone. To exemplify Cargo's ability to perform in this mayoral capacity, she is all ways on hand to help. For example, when the Colorado bar blew up, my sis was the bartender standing by darlin' Bessie, who was killed. Cargo not only helped Bessie's family, she literally got my sister back on her feet. She was there to help more than anyone else, providing countless hours working on the building and caring for the injured.

Sheriff McNutt had an accident and was injured, so Cargo had a benefit to raise money for him in lieu of their previous differences.

The stamina and energy provided by Rodeman remains a symbol of her ability to get things done.

We all should appreciate her caring and concern for Oak Creek; I don't know of a more deserving candidate for mayor.
