Ann Copeland and boys spent the spring break vacation time in Estes Park with her sister, Susan.
Millie Hellyer spent her spring break week in Denver with her family.
Judy Copeland was honored last Tuesday evening on her birthday by her family, who all shared refreshments and the get-together.
The Hayden Public Library hosted its annual Easter egg hunt for preschoolers on Thursday morning, March 21. Sharon Booco did the story time reading. This year the eggs were plastic which were filled with both candy and money.
Levi Klapperich is home for spring break from his college studies at Rangely.
Ronnie Jones is at home again following a business trip to Missouri for several days.
Sixteen members of the Craig-based Sweet Adelines chorus group traveled to Colorado Springs last weekend to attend a regional competition.
Katie Koppenhafer and children have been enjoying spring break vacation here with Katie's parents and siblings. She and her husband moved their family back to Colorado from Minnesota in February. They are happy to be back in the mountains and living much closer to family. Home is now in Cortez.
Bill and Roberta Pero returned home following a three-week trip to Florida, where they visited with Bill's family. They report that the highlight of the trip was to get acquainted with the new babies and of course enjoying all the children.
Tim and Karen Gilroy are at home again after an enjoyable trip to Arizona, where they visited Karen's parents, Kenneth and Carol Rhodes.
Lyn Scott and his two sons were in Denver last weekend where they attended the most exciting hockey game at the Pepsi Center.
Tom and Carol Mundon recently returned home from a fun trip to California, where they visited members of Carol's family.
Word has been received here that Ray Hansen passed away in Grand Junction week before last. Mr. Hansen and his wife made their home at the Beaver Valley Ranch for several years. They moved to Grand Junction a couple of years ago for him to receive kidney dialysis treatment.
