Jerry and Jean Armstrong of Wray are pleased to announce the engagement of their daughter Lana Armstrong to Caswell Austin of Yuma.

The grooms parents are Butch Austin of Fruita and Verna Austin of Yuma, Ariz.

The wedding is planned for Aug. 23, 2003, at Harper Ranch in Toponas.



Don and Marty Unger of Evergreen announce the engagement of their daughter Kimberly Christine to Matthew Allen Miner, son of Gary and Connie Miner of Hayden.

Kim is a 2001 graduate of Evergreen High School and is a sophomore in the culinary arts program at Mesa State College in Grand Junction. She is working and interning at the Adam’s Mark Hotel.



Matt graduated from Hayden High School in 2001 and attended Mesa State for one year. He is the lead guitarist and singer for “Under the Thumb” and is employed by Wholesale Truss Company.

Kim and Matt plan to be married in Evergreen on June 1, 2003, and will live in Grand Junction to continue their educations and careers.

Mr. and Mrs. Paul R. Guerra of Westwood, Mass., are pleased to announce the engagement of their daughter Melanie MacLellan Guerra to Mark Lyman Gronemeyer, son of Mr. and Mrs. Lyman S. Gronemeyer of Bel Air, Calif.

The bride-to-be is a graduate of Westwood High School and Emerson College in Boston. She is pursuing her graduate gemologist designation from the Gemological Institute of America, and has formed Northern Light Jewelry, a company where she sells her designs. She is employed as Brand Marketing Coordinator for Bloom Cosmetics from their offices in Steamboat Springs. She also serves as director of public relations for the Northwest Colorado Animal Assistance League.

The groom-to-be is a graduate of Brentwood School, the University of California at Santa Barbara and Daniels College of Business, and the Burns School of Real Estate and Construction at the University of Denver. He consults in the real estate industry in financing and due diligence and is a broker at Phoenix Resources Mortgage in Steamboat Springs. He also volunteers as a community ambassador for the Steamboat Springs Chamber & Resort Association.

The couple plans to marry in June 2003 in Steamboat Springs and will honeymoon in Belize.
