The community expresses sincere sympathy to the family of Bill Maijala, who passed away this past week. Services were held at 11 a.m. Monday at St. Martins Catholic Church in Oak Creek, with burial in Yampa.

We would like to express sympathy to the Willie Smith family for the loss of Willie's uncle in Indiana.

Big Tuna's now open

Big Tuna's restaurant is now open for breakfast and on Saturdays and Sundays from 7 to 11 a.m. Dintys in open from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. each Saturday and Sunday. Drop by and enjoy good food and good friends.

Sad to see the Golden Spike being torn down, we have had a lot of good meals and times there.

The Bill Meeks went to Utah over Memorial Day and then to Virginia for the graduation of their grandchild.

The Don Ritkouskis went to Denver to attend Don's Army reunion.

Verna Whaley and June Carr went to Steamboat on Friday.

Here to attend the graduation of Gena Iacovetto were: Jerry, Jane and Gary Maxey of Durango and Rick Maxey and family of Utah.

Louise and Ray had company for the graduation, Mr. and Mrs. Mike Kelher of Grand Junction, Marguerite Kelher of Westminster and Andy Kelher of Logan, Utah.

John and Cindy Porter are enjoying time with son Mike.

Joann Nayden and Bob Brown are home following a trip to Illinois.

Rocco Lombardi, Pie Lombardi, Ernie and Joann Lombardi all have been helping Karen and Ernie to move.

The Pie Lombardis spent the weekend in Grand Junction.

Mr. and Mrs Jim Goggin spent the weekend in Denver. They brought their grandson home with them.

Mrs. Doug Campbell and her mother are spending time here in town.
