Klohr named McAuliffe Academy valedictorian
CLARK Christa McAuliffe Academy, a leader in distance learning over the Internet, is proud to announce it has selected Zach Klohr as valedictorian of this year's graduating class. Zach, who lives in Clark, achieved a 4.05 grade point average by excelling in all classes, including advanced college-level French. His mentor at Christa McAuliffe Academy for the last 3 1/2 years, Mr. Bill Quist, has high praise for Zach. He said, "Zach is the kind of student every teacher dreams of having in class, he is simply outstanding."
Jarchow selected as Teen of the Month
STEAMBOAT SPRINGS Steamboat senior Mary Jarchow has been selected as "Teen of the Month" for March by the Steamboat Optimist Club.
In School, Mary has been on the honor roll, served as secretary/treasurer for the senior class, served at co-captain of the 7 C's Unity Project and directed "An Evening of the Arts."
An accomplished flutist, Mary has performed at dozens of community activities, including the "Valentine Soiree" with the Chamber Orchestra and played several dates at the museum for the Historical Society.
