Summer registration being accepted for CNCC
Summer registration is still being accepted at Colorado Northwestern Community College classes in Hayden. People who still wish to sign up for classes should call 276-3132 or stop by the office (129 W. Jefferson Ave.) to register.
Dave Honhart, women's basketball coach at CNCC-Rangely, will host a basketball camp for girls in grades 5-12 July 16-19. The overnight camp, staffed by college coaches and players, will be held on the Rangely campus. People who would like a brochure and camp application should contact Honhart at 970-675-3312.

Residents complete
EMT training program
Three Hayden residents recently completed an EMT intermediate training program. Carla Lighthizer, Robin Lighthizer and Dustin Williams participated in the six-month-long program that involved weekend-long classroom sessions and trips to Denver and/or Grand Junction to acquire 60 hours of clinical field experience in hospital emergency departments and advanced life-support ambulance services.
The students wrapped up the program, offered by Colorado Northwestern Community College, with a 250-question final exam and skill demonstration.

Regional Building Dept. opens office in Hayden
The Routt County Regional Building Department recently opened a satellite office in Hayden. An inspector will meet with the public at Hayden Town Hall on Wednesdays from 8 to 8:30 a.m. People who want more information should call 870-5566.

Input wanted for change in school handbook
The Athletics/Activities Department for the Hayden middle and high schools would like to invite all parents and other interested individuals to participate in the reconfiguration of its athletic/activities handbook. The first meeting will be held at 7 p.m. today in the high school video conferencing room. For more information, call Kevin Kleckler at the high school at 276-3761.
