IN THE SERVICE: Simon Kassemi

Rebecca Kassemi is proud to announce the appointment of her son, Simon Kassemi, to the New Mexico Military Institute. Simon will begin sophomore classes Aug. 9 in Roswell and plans to participate in Jr. ROTC, speech team and track. Simon has been a member of the Civil Air Patrol Cadet Squadron in Steamboat Springs for the past four years and serves as deputy commander. He hopes to one day serve his country as a pilot in the U.S. Air Force.
