Betty N. Fry, 77, died Dec. 31, 2001, at her home in Loveland.
She was born Jan. 21, 1924, at Cherokee, Okla., to George F. and Bertha (Mollit) Newton.
Betty was a homemaker. She and her family traveled extensively and lived in various places worldwide including Venezuela, Libya, north Africa, Somalia and Egypt.
She moved from Steamboat Springs to Loveland the summer of 1995. She enjoyed reading, correspondence and writing, sewing and her neighbors. Betty belonged to the First United Methodist Church in Loveland.
She is survived by four sons, Thomas Fry of Fort Collins; Steven William Fry and wife Bess of Winland Park, Texas; Martin Carrol and wife Brook of Scottsdale, Ariz.; and Bradley Newton Fry and wife Nancy of Steamboat Springs; five grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; three nieces and one nephew.
She was preceded in death by two brothers, George Newton and Harold Newton, and a sister, Yvonne Becker.
Cremation has taken place.
