A tragic accident took the precious life of Ann Sheets Feb. 10, 2002. She was the wife of Robert Sheets, the mother of Zachary and Nicole, sister of Gary Cruson and family of Oak Creek and daughter of Harold and Joyce Cruson, now of Grand Junction. Ann came into the lives of Joyce, Harold and Gary with much joy and celebration. She lived her life with exuberance and a passion for many things and left it enjoying the sunshine and fresh air she loved so much. She was raised in Steamboat Springs, graduated from high school in Steamboat, and attended Mesa State College. She worked several years at Junction Square while attending college and later worked at Elam Construction where she met Bob. Most recently, she had worked at Chatfield Elementary School as a librarian.

She lit up the lives of those around her and her final contribution of tissue, bone and corneas will help as many as fifty people.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Sheets Children Educational Fund in care of Mesa Colorado Teachers Federal Credit Union, P.O. Box 1089, 2302 North Ave, Grand Junction, CO, 81502-1089. All of the Sheets' family and friends shared a celebration of her life at 10 a.m. Feb. 16, 2002, at the Fellowship Church, 765 24 Rd (I-70 & 24 Rd).
