AUTHOR HOSTS ROUTT COUNTY DISCUSSION
STEAMBOAT SPRINGSColorado Mountain College's Alpine Enrichment Program presents a Novel Ideas series for the spring semester with "Rivers, Range and Change" as the topic for Feb. 20. Discussions are at 7 p.m. Wednesdays in Bogue Hall, room 300.
The discussions are free and open to the public. Cathy Neelan, a Steamboat resident and author of "Rivers, Range and Change, A Legacy of Landscapes in Routt & Moffat County 1900-2000," will facilitate the discussion on changes in the environment in the last century and how she came to write the book.

SNOW EXPRESS FOR MS IS ON MARCH 3
STEAMBOAT SPRINGSJimmie Heuga's 17th Annual Snow Express for MS is March 3 in Steamboat Springs. Teams of participants compete against each other in a dual giant slalom race.
Participants, skiers and snowboarders of all ages and abilities, must raise $1,000 by the date of the race. The more money raised, the better the prizes.
Money raised will benefit The Heuga Center, a nonprofit scientific research center dedicated to improving the lives of people with multiple sclerosis. Call 888-DO-IT-4-MS, 879-7860 or visit www.heuga.org to register for the race and for more information.

Yampatika and Partners in Interpretation present a Wee Naturalists schedule for the winter.
