HOUSING AUTHORITY MEETING ON THURSDAY
OAK CREEKRoutt County commissioners and a few Steamboat officials will provide an introduction to a proposed multi-jurisdictional housing authority at 7 p.m. Thursday at the Oak Creek Town Board meeting.
The public is welcome to ask questions and offer input.
A similar meeting was held last Wednesday in Yampa, and the third meeting will be held Feb. 21 in Hayden.
In mid-January, the Two Plus Housing Committee recommended to the Steamboat Springs City Council and county commissioners its proposal for a multi-jurisdictional housing authority that would provide housing to Yampa Valley residents.
A multi-jurisdictional housing authority could include the communities like Oak Creek.
