Alice True Sprengle Hall, 94, died Jan. 31, 2002, in Loveland. She was born Oct. 25, 1907, in Fort Collins, to Harry True and Emma Kissock True. Alice married Ray Sprengle Aug. 21, 1929, and graduated from Colorado A&M College in 1930 with a degree in home economics.

She lived in Pueblo, Meeker and Steamboat Springs. After her husband's death in 1961, she joined the Peace Corps and served two years in Jimma, Ethiopia. She married Teller Hall in 1968 and lived in Lake San Marcos and Fallbrook, Calif. until she returned to Colorado in 1997.

Alice is survived by her three children, Jack Sprengle of Steamboat Springs, Arloa Kupilik of Loveland and Linda Robinson of San Diego, Calif.; 10 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; three brothers, Alvin True of Northglenn, Luis True of Eckley and Art True of Sulphur, Louisiana. A memorial service will be held in Steamboat Springs at a later date.
